Human Rights Documentation

The program is designed to directly document and bring to attention the state on the serious and ongoing violations of the human rights of the LGBTIQA+ community and sex workers by the different stakeholders including the Uganda Police, health workers and the entire community.

The program addresses the violations to the state for consideration of pertinent issues and respectfully asks the state to consider.

We provide information on the rights of the LGBTIQA+ community and sex workers and reduce the vulnerability to ease access to services and equal opportunities for all.

HIV/AIDS Sensitization

We sensitize the LGBTIQA+ community and sex workers about the prevalence of HIV/AIDS and emphasize them to take care. We retain LGBTIQA+ patients and sex workers on ART treatment in care, i.e. it is critical to sustain the 90/90/90 vision.

The program aims at making progress in placing the LGBTIQA+ HIV positive patients on treatment. In order to increase access to treatment, ART decentralization is crucial to the LGBTIQA+ community and sex workers.

Research and Advocacy

The overall outcome of this program is to ensure a free and just environment for the LGBTIQA+ community and sex workers in Uganda and access to health and justice for all.

We document and make recommendations based on evidence to the policy makers on the law and policy exclusions.

Community and Capacity Enhancement

The objective is to enhance the capacity of rights holders and duty bearers to effectively advocate for and protect the rights of the marginalized persons and Most at Risk population groups in Uganda.

The goal is to see marginalized persons, Most at Risk populations and duty bearers participating effectively in respecting and promoting human rights of marginalized groups

Empowerment

We aim at creating a business-oriented community and environment equipped with skills and knowledge to start, manage, and maintain their own businesses.

We provide practical skills like crafts-making, fashion, art and design, makeup, baking, and others.
